M408 –This rifle is used worldwide. It is also in a league of its own when it comes to long range accuracy nothing else can be compared. It ships standard with a 29 inch military barrel with a detachable muzzle break it is easily removable from optional suppressor. The suppressor is highly recommended. It is extremely pleasant to shoot and quiet. It is shipped standard with two 7 round detachable magazines, bipod, carry handle and rear monopod. Everything is shipped standard in a custom fitted starlight hardcase with wheels. It also includes a cleaning rod, bore guide and tools needed to disassemble the weapon. The barrel can be removed with in a matter of seconds to be more compact. Optional accessories would be a picatinny rail for a forearm if you wanted which is needed if you are going to use night vision or IR laser. The only scope I recommend is the Nightforce 5.5-22x56 with the NP-R2 reticle. Other reticles are available by special request. The Nightforce scope will be mounted by the rifle either by THOR military rings. This rifle is 408 CheyTac caliber. Each round is machined and has an effective range of over 3000 meters. There is a link on this section which will take you to THOR white papers on performance. It is also available on THOR’s website. I highly recommend reading it, it goes over the complete system. This rifle needs to be used in conjunction with a Kessler weather meter. Also ask about software. It is a must for shooting extremely long ranges. You’ll also need a good range finder. The ammo is in stock all the time along with projectiles brass and reloading dies for those individuals who decide to reload.
