The chosen finish by THOR is the Cerakote line of finishes which is available in 31 standard colors and offers excellent corrosion protection, as well as abrasion resistance and unmatched durability. Cerakote outperforms Teflon based coatings for wear resistance by well over 60% and in addition, all Cerakote finishes have self-lubricating elements incorporated throughout the coatings matrix which
allows firearms to function with little or no fluid lubricants that typically attract abrasive dust particles.
